Chandigarh: Traffic police uses scarecrow to ask people to stay home

Amid the Covid-19 lockdown, Chandigarh traffic police has erected a scarecrow at a checkpost to urge locals to stay at home. The scarecrow gives out the message that it is safe to stay at home when the Covid-19 pandemic is creating havoc across the globe. Staying home will break the chain of transmission, thus protecting the health infrastructure from being overwhelmed during the crisis, which will help the doctors buy some time until a cure is found.
