Karnataka: Congress faces backlash over Bajrang dal ban in manifesto, plans to hold prayers at temple after BJP's chalisa event

Following the BJP's large chalisa campaign, the Congress party announced plans to hold prayers at the Maruthi temple. After facing criticism for their proposal to ban the Bajrang Dal, Congress leaders, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and DK Shivakumar, visited temples. Shivakumar also pledged to construct Hanuman temples if his party wins the election.
