Markets close on positive note as Sensex gains above 100 points

The equity benchmarks- Sensex and Nifty on Tuesday overcame market volatility to finish trading on a positive note. 30-share BSE Sensex gained 107.30 points to finish on 31,809.55 and broader 50-share NSE Nifty closed on 9,952.20, up by 39.35 points. Both the indices gained 0.40 per cent.
