Upen Patel made his television debut on the celebrity based reality show Bigg Boss. The actor was earlier seen playing supportive roles in several Bollywood films.

The actor, who last dated Karishma Tanna, with whom he even participated in Nach Baliye 7 enjoyed a number of vacations with his lady love, until they called it quits.
