From Winning Indian Idol to his stint in Bigg Boss Telugu: Sreerama Chandra's remarkable career highlights

Before being crowned as the winner of Indian Idol, Sreerama Chandra started his career as a playback singer in Telugu movies. His first song was "Chirugaalithone Adiga '' from Note Book in 2007. He got this opportunity from Music Director Mickey J Meyer.

This can be considered a turning point in Sreerama Chandra's career. He won the Indian Idol season 5 title and also garnered the love of who's who of the Indian music and film industry.

Singer Sreerama Chandra's first Hindi album - Rehnuma was released in 2010. It gave him the boost to work on music videos like Crazy Love.

After achieving fame through Indian Idol, he received a significant accolade by performing during the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, India. On that prestigious stage, he had the privilege of sharing it with renowned singers such as Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sunidhi Chauhan.

His initial foray into acting occurred with the Telugu film 'Jagadguru Adi Shankara,' where he portrayed the character of Kinga Amaraka. Subsequently, in 2014, he made his debut as the lead actor in the movie "Prema Geema Jaanta Nai".

The interesting part of his career was participating in the Bigg Boss Telugu 5. His entry into Bigg Boss garnered a lot of attention from the audience. The contestants were surprised by his entry into the Bigg Boss House. He was known for his competitive spirit and eventually emerged as the Second runner-up of the season.
