Onam 2024: Avesham, Mandakini, and Turbo - Exciting TV premieres this festive season

As Onam 2024 approaches, the festive spirit in Kerala is palpable, and television channels are gearing up to add to the celebrations with a fantastic lineup of World Television Premieres (WTP). This Onam, viewers can look forward to a range of blockbuster movies that promise to bring entertainment and joy to homes across the state.

The TV premiere festivities kick off on Utradam day with the much-anticipated film "Avesham." This movie, featuring the talented Fahad Faasil, is set to capture audiences with its engaging storyline and Faasil’s stellar performance.


On Utradam day, Mammootty’s blockbuster film "Turbo" will also make its World Television Premiere, adding another exciting option for movie lovers.


On Thiruvonam, the festivities continue with two major film premieres. The Television Premiere of "Garrr," a survival-comedy film starring Kunchacko Boban, Suraj Venjaramood, and Anagha, will air. This film promises a blend of humor and adventure, perfect for family viewing during the festive season.

Later in the evening, at 7 PM, viewers will be treated to "Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil," a superhit family entertainer led by Prithviraj and Basil Joseph. This movie explores themes of marriage and family life, featuring notable performances by Nikhila Vimal, Anaswara Rajan, Baiju Santhosh, Jagadish, and Yogi Babu. Its light-hearted approach and relatable content are sure to resonate with audiences celebrating Onam.

"Mandakini" starring Althaf Salim, Anarkali Marikar, and Ganapathi S. Poduval, promises an engaging storyline and strong performances. "Pavi Caretaker" featuring Dileep, which is expected to be a major draw for fans of the actor. Unni Mukundan's 'Jai Ganesh' is also a must-watch in the line up. "Nadanna Sambhavam" starring Biju Menon and Sruthi Ramachandran, offering another dose of entertainment.

The festival also includes not just Malayalam cinema but also Tamil blockbuster content. "Ayalaan," a major film starring Sivakarthikeyan, will have its Malayalam premiere during the festive season, adding to the variety of choices for viewers.
