Movie debut with Sivaji Ganesan

"When I was in pre-KG then, I went along with my mom for an event and I was asked to put a garland on him. While doing it, he noticed and asked me my name. The very next day, the production team reached my home and I was taken to their office. Initially, I was asked to play a boy and they suggested cutting my long hair, but both I and my mom were not ready for it. Sivaji sir learned about it and he said 'Ok, let it be a girl then'. Soon the script was changed and I played a child in the movie 'Nenjangal'," she said.
