The recent physical altercation between contestants Shanavas and Nevin has become the talk of Bigg Boss Malayalam fans. Shanavas was hospitalised after collapsing when Nevin threw milk and a milk packet at him. However, this isn’t the first time such incidents have occurred inside the Bigg Boss Malayalam house — and some have even led to shocking exits. In the first season of Bigg Boss Malayalam, winner Sabumon and inmate Hima Shankar had a major fight inside the house. After Hima re-entered the show, she reportedly “targeted” Sabu, claiming a “special connection” with him. Sabu objected to her comments, but their disagreement eventually turned ugly, leading host Mohanlal to intervene and warn Sabu.

Rajith Kumar was one of the most controversial contestants of Bigg Boss Malayalam 2. He was expelled from the show for “assaulting” contestant Reshma Rajan. During the Bigg Boss High School task, Rajith applied chilli paste near Reshma’s eyes, causing her severe discomfort and forcing the makers to rush her to the hospital. Rajith defended his action, claiming it was meant to “create some fun” during the task, but Bigg Boss later announced his expulsion for violating house rules.

In Bigg Boss Malayalam 4, a physical altercation broke out between Dr. Robin Radhakrishnan and Riyas during a weekly task. When Robin tried to snatch Riyas’s magic bottle, he ran into the bathroom and refused to come out. In an attempt to force him out, Jasmine and Ronson sprayed air freshener and insect repellent inside. Once Robin emerged, Riyas confronted him, and an enraged Robin reportedly grabbed Riyas by the neck and pushed him. Robin was immediately moved to a secret room and was later expelled from the show.

One of the biggest fights in Bigg Boss Malayalam history occurred in Season 6 between Asi Rocky and Sijo. The altercation began over kitchen duties and quickly escalated as both exchanged heated words. Rocky warned Sijo not to touch him, but when Sijo placed a hand on his shoulder, Rocky reacted violently, kicking Sijo on the chin. Sijo sustained a facial fracture and had to take a break from the show, while Rocky was expelled for physical violence.

Shanavas, part of the vessel-cleaning team with Anumol, refused to clean a pot, sparking a verbal argument. Captain Nevin, holding a packet of milk, tried to walk away, but Shanavas blocked his path. In reaction, Nevin poured milk over him. Moments later, Shanavas collapsed, prompting Bigg Boss to intervene.
He was moved to the confession room for medical evaluation and later shifted to a hospital for further treatment. Bigg Boss was heard saying, “We are taking you to the hospital for better care,” as Shanavas was escorted out by the medical team.
