But, did you know it is not the first time that the duo is singing together in a public platform? Yes, they were co-contestants in the popular music reality show 'Super Star'.
In one of the throwback videos shared by the channel that aired the show, Job and Athira can be seen singing together on the stage. The duo renders the evergreen romantic song 'Vaikkathashtami' and their chemistry truly steals the show. In the video, popular pianist Stephen Devassy can be seen backing for them. The judging panel includes musicians Deepak Dev, Alphonse, and the late violinist Balabhaskar, and actor Manoj K. Jayan.

Both Job and Athira were contestants in Super Star, one of the first ever popular music reality shows in Malayalam TV. Though Athira got evicted much early in the competition, Job emerged as the first runner up. Currently, Job is one of the much loved singers in Malayalam music industry. Along with his playback singing, he also enjoys a huge fan following for his originals too.
