Actress Remya Panicker entered Bigg Boss Malayalam as the 18th contestant. During her entry, Remya shared that she wants the audience to know her real self.

In one of the episodes, Firoz Khan stated that it is disgusting to talk to Remya and said, "I would have smashed your head if that ever touched me." As per Remya's complaint, Bigg Boss called the duo into the confession room and enquired about the issue. Bigg Boss warned Firoz against threatening someone in the house.

During the weekly task, 'Bigg Boss University', Remya played the character 'Principal Sheela'. Her makeover and gestures were loved by the audience.

In the recent weekly task, Remya was seen playing the character Parimalam, a popular character of actress Bhavana in the movie, 'Nammal'. She managed to portray the character well by mimicking the distinct slang and gestures of the character.

In one of the recent episodes, Remya was spotted in tears. She complained to Noby about the criticism she has received from the housemates regarding her performance in the 'Kaliyattam task'. She got emotional narrating how she tried to portray the given character.

Remya left the show in the 5th weekend episode. During the interaction with Mohanlal, Remya said, "It was my first experience in a reality show and it was a great opportunity.
