The Kapil Sharma Show: Yashpal Sharma revealed he became cricketer because of Dilip Kumar

The episode of The Kapil Sharma Show starts with Yashpal Sharma praising Kapil Sharma for his amazing sense of humour. He then goes on to talk to Kapil's mother and tells her that the ace comedian is not just his son, but has become entire nation's son because he makes people laugh.

Sandeep Patil went on to share a hilarious incident about Yashpal Sharma being addicted to Dilip Kumar and Manoj Kumar starrer, Kranti. He was so addicted to that film, that he kept watching over and over again for an entire week. Sandeep Patil decided to steal the tape and he managed to do it. Yashpal Sharma revealed the reason behind his love for the film. He said he loved Dilip Kumar and he watched the film for him as the veteran actor played an important role in him becoming a cricketer and play International cricket.

He shared Dilip Kumar had watched him playing a Ranji Trophy match where he scored century. He recommended Yashpal Sharma's name to late Raj Singh Dungarpur and that's how he became cricketer.

When Kapil talked about superstitious: Mohinder Amarnath also known as Jimmy opened up about keeping a red handkerchief in his pocket. He said more than superstition it was a habit that he emulated from his legendary father Lala Amarnath as he also kept a red handkerchief. He also said that once a famous West Indies cricketer had also thought of robbing his lucky handkerchief so that he fails during the test match. Mohinder had carried the handkerchief for the TKSS episode also.

Kiku Sharda, who plays Bachcha Singh, made a smashing entry and went on to crack some funny jokes. From asking Kapil Sharma to break his record of having 11 kids to showing a No Ball sign to Kapil for his joke. However, his joke on Madan Lal made everyone laugh out loud. He said, "Cricket 83 World cup team mein do he cheez sirf laal thi, ek cricket ki ball aur ek Madan Lal."

Mohinder Amarnath and Srikanth sang for Rochelle: One of the highlights of the show was when Mohinder Amarnath and Krishnamachari Srikkanth sang songs for Rochelle. They stunned everyone with their energy and dance.

When the World Cup winners danced: The entire team got together and danced on a peppy dance number and it was a sight to see these stalwarts have fun together.

Harbhajan Singh took Kapil Dev's signature on his T-shirt: Harbhajan was the special judge on the show and he especially wore a white T-shirt to get autograph of the World Cup winning team.

When cricketers spilled beans about each other: Host Kapil asked the legendary cricketers a few fun questions and they all happily revealed their secrets. From the most untidy player, the one who parties the most to the person who kept pleasing the captain. It was revealed that Sandeep Patil partied a lot and he was also the most fashionable teammate while, Krishnamachari Srikkanth was the most untidy room mate.

Yashpal Sharma revealed that they were not allowed to take star wives during that time. However, the board did not stop any of the players from taking their wives. As the players did not have money those days they shared rooms with their wives and the players who were bachelors adjusted for them.
