The Great Indian Kapil Show 3: From Sidharth Malhotra’s disagreements with wife Kiara to Kapil’s reason behind losing weight; candid revelations

The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show 3 was packed with laughter and candid revelations. From Sidharth Malhotra hilariously sharing his disagreements with wife Kiara Advani to Janhvi Kapoor revealing her childhood crush, the episode had some fun, light-hearted moments. Kapil Sharma also opened up about the real reason behind his weight loss journey, while Sanjay Kapoor spoke about the challenges of playing Sidharth’s father on-screen.

What Sidharth and Kiara fight about

One thing is that she always needs geyser on. She likes to bathe in hot water. Even in the heat of Bombay. And I like to bathe in cold water. I have to turn on the geyser for her.

Finalising baby name

We are still thinking. Many suggestions have come from relatives to name the baby. This was your grandmother's name, this was their name, they keep suggesting.

Janhvi on distinguishing between South Indian and North Indian guy

If you have to find out, you have to feed them. Because I believe that the north Indians' style of eating is a little... I mean, naan like this and then butter chicken and then naan like this. It's a little... But in the south, we put ghee and eat round ladoos.

When Sanjay Kapoor was made to look older to play Sidharth’s father

Sidharth shared, “He's playing my father. It's a big challenge. Our director narrated to him that you play Sidharth's father. He was like, ‘Me? Father?’ Then he discussed with the director for two hours how to age him so that he looks like my father in the movie. He worked really hard on his look. So, I didn't age, he aged.

Kapil Sharma on how he lost weight

When I get a film, I do it. In that, my heroine was 18 years younger than me. I thought, before she touches my feet, I should lose weight. You have to look at yourself on a big screen. You have to be careful. You know, while sitting, you can only see your big belly and can’t see your feet, you know it’s time get fit. That's the journey of my life.

Kapil praises child actor Inayat Verma’s confidence

Kapil asks Inayat about her future plans, to which she replies, “I want to do movies. I have a lot of plans. I want to work with Shahrukh Sir. He's the best. I want to work with him.” Kapil says, “I'm surprised by the confidence of the kids. Archana ji, we didn't have this much confidence at this age.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s crush

I used to really like Guru Dutt Sir. I think he was amazingly handsome. And Dharam ji was so... I mean, he's still so handsome but he's so my crush. It's a very honest route. I'm telling you, it's very honest. But there was no one like Dharam ji.
