Shilpa Shinde asks people to read her FIR copy amid backlash in fake se*ual allegation case; says, 'Stop spreading false narratives'
Actress Shilpa Shinde has been making headlines since she admitted to making false accusations against the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai producer nine years ago. She has been facing backlash, with fellow celebrities calling her out over the same. The actress has now urged everyone to stop spreading false narratives about her case.
On Saturday, Shilpa shared a new social media post, attempting to present her side of the story. She stressed that those spreading various stories regarding the case must check out the FIR copy first. In the clip, Shilpa can be seen sarcastically sharing how Sanjay Kohli has been portrayed as a victim by many, as he and his family allegedly went through a lot over the past nine years before she finally came out with the truth.
However, she added, “Lekin un logon ne mere sath kya kiya ye bhi unlogon ko bolna padega, kyunki tit for tat hota hai (They will also have to share what they did to me because it is always tit for tat).”
Asking everyone to first read her FIR copy before reacting, Shilpa said in the same clip, “Ussmein (FIR copy) maine saaf saaf shabdon mein likha hai ki unhone mera haath pakda, mujhe apni taraf kheecha… Kisi ke maai ke laal mein himmat nahi hai woh karne ki (I have mentioned clearly in the FIR copy that he pulled my hand towards him… no one has the guts to do that).”
“KEEP DOING YOUR JOB, PR, but stop spreading false narratives about the case. Sexual harassment is any unwelcome sexual behavior that makes a person feel uncomfortable, intimidated, humiliated, or offended. Unwanted physical contact, sexual comments or jokes, inappropriate messages or images, repeated unwanted advances, sexually suggestive gestures… So stop circulating your own cooked theory. Jaago grahak jaago (people, please wake up)!” she captioned the post.
Shilpa has constantly been in the news ever since her shocking revelation on Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa’s podcast that the sexual harassment allegations she had levelled against the show’s producer were false. She claimed that she felt she had no other option at the time.
