Navein Prakaashh joins the cast of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

Actor Navein Prakaashh is thrilled to join the television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, headlined by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, reprising their roles as Tulsi and Mihir Virani.Known for his work in Sapnon Ki Chhalaang, Navein plays Dev Virani in the show — the son of Sahil Virani (played by Sandeep Baswana) and Ganga (played by Shilpa Saklani). Speaking about his character, he shares, “I am playing Dev Virani. He’s someone who just wants to enjoy life and doesn’t want to work hard. It feels surreal to be part of the ever-growing legacy of this show. I had manifested working with Ekta ma’am, and I’m truly delighted that it has happened.” Reflecting on the legacy of his onscreen parents, Navein adds, “Sahil and Ganga were a major part of the original series. I haven’t personally watched their love story, but my mother used to follow the show closely, and she’s told me all about it. I really feel that, like them, even my role will grow and become more promising. I’m hopeful of receiving the same love from the audience as the track progresses.”The reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu introduced a new generation with actors like Rohit Suchanti, Tanisha Mehta, Shagun Sharma and Aman Gandhi. Recently, the show took a six-year leap, bringing in fresh faces, including Swati Sharma and Alfiya Khan, further expanding the Virani family saga.
