MasterChef India: From Aruna Vijay bagging ads to Priyanka Biswas baking for Debina Bonnerjee; Here's what the home cooks are up to after wrapping up the season

The MasterChef India's season wrapped with mixed reactions however, the viewers were extremely happy with Nayanjyoti Sakia lifting the trophy. After the show wrapped the judges are back with their restaurants, now take a look at what the home cooks are up to who grabbed major popularity.

Nayanjyoti got a grand welcome after winning the MasterChef India trophy. The newly crowned chef is currently on a trek as he has taken a break from everything. He already has his own vlogs which he shall continue to share with his fans. Nayan was extremely emotional when he witnessed a massive crowd waiting for him at the airport and they also hosted a small function to felicitate him.

After all the criticism and trolls, Aruna Vijay has been enjoying fame. The home cook had a special event to felicitate her co-contestants and celebrate her achievements with the show. She has been currently travelling around to promote her craft. Aruna also bagged a few advertisements after the show.

Santa has been busy receiving accolades from Assam's communities and political bodies. She recently took to her Instagram and shared that she was felicitated by the Governor. She wrote, "Extremely honoured to be felicitated by Respected Governor of Assam Mr Gulab Chand Katariya ji"

Gurkirat is back with his informative reels and food tips on Instagram, the young home cook has been quite interested in giving a shot to vlogging with his cooking skills. He did start with a channel and now he is soon to refuel his zeal and begin vlogging full-fledged.

Priyanka Biswas Kundu has continued with her bakery and recently made a customised cake for Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary for their daughter Lianna's first birthday. She wrote, " I am sooooo happy that @debinabon mam trusts me with her first birthday cake.. it feels surreal.. really feeling blessed and both of them, Debina mam and @guruchoudhary sir was sooooo sweet and appreciated the cake so much.. Thank you so much to my insta family who suggested my name for their little one Lianna's cake. Debina ma'am wanted a doll Cake or a tiered cake, I designed the cake taking inspiration from baby Lianna's dress"

Kamaldeep Kaur recently hosted her co-contestant Gurkirat at home and recreated the pressure test as she cooked a whole 4-course meal for him and the family. KDK has been currently busy having media interactions. She is set to step professionally into the kitchen soon.

Sachin has taken a small break from all the cooking, the home cook is quite active on his social media. Recently, he was busy exploring the city and now he is relaxing and exploring new cuisine for his upcoming professional journey.

The plant-based queen Priya has turned into an author with her unique vegan recipes and recently launched her book. She has also been educating her followers and keeps sessions on how vegan is a healthy option. She took to her Instagram to share about her book and wrote, "I have documented 10 recipes each on Rotis, Salads & Smoothies which are 100% Plant-based, mostly WFPB- macro & calorie counts too. Though clean, unprocessed food would never require you to count calories. My idea is to let you know that you can eat so much food when eating clean."

The home cook who proudly presented the Sindhi culture in all her dishes in MasterChef India is currently exploring the Sindhi street trails of Mumbai and highlighting how the cuisine has been one of the richest heritages of their roots.
