Kumkum Bhagya, Choti Sardarni and other TV shows to resume shoot; get set to view fresh episodes

Amid the pandemic, nationwide lockdown was imposed and the entertainment industry, too, came to a halt. After three months, with certain relaxations, the Maharashtra government has given its green signal for the TV industry to start shoot. Soon, the audience will get to see fresh episodes of their favourite shows. However, Cine & TV Artists Association (CINTAA) are adamant that their artists' won't resume work unless they clear their pending dues and settle their grievances. The makers of Kumkum Bhagya released a promo of Abhi and Pragya's lovey-dovey moments and said that they will come with fresh episodes in July. "Kya aap ko yaad hai #Abhigya ke yeh pyaare pal? The makers of Avinesh Rekhi and Nimrit Kaur's Choti Sardarni released a promo of the show, and promised that they will begin from where they stopped. Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is also set to resume shoot. Speaking about it, producer Pawan Kumar told BT, "Yes, we have started shooting, as we have the necessary permission from Maharashtra government. We are taking all the necessary steps for the safety of our team. It is important that our staff, especially those on daily wages, get to earn their livelihood. The shoot of Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi has also begun, said producer Pawan Kumar, who is also the producer of Shakti. Actor Aparna Dixit, who plays the lead in Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi told BT, "Everything is different now. Very few people were present on the set; the others were coming only when required. Everyone was wearing masks except us, because we can’t wear masks on camera. Our temperature was checked every hour, and we had to sanitise our hands frequently. I carried my own make-up kit, and since I was the only female artiste on the set, there was just one hairstylist and make-up person. The promo of Ekta Kapoor's Ye Hai Chahatein featured the lead actress of the show – Sargun Kaur Luthra aka Preesha. Tujhse Hai Raabta will also resume soon and its makers assured that they will come out with new episodes.
