Cook Babita Tade wins one crore on KBC 11

Babita Tade won Rs 1 crore in the 11th season of the show. The winner of the prize money, who hails from Amravati district in Maharashtra, is a mid-day meal cook. She shared on the show she loves to cook 'khichdi' for kids, but earns only Rs 1500 from her job. Babita took home Rs 1 crore, setting an example for others to follow their dreams, and rise above their circumstances.

Binita Jain

Binita Jain from Assam participated in the 10th season of KBC. She revealed on the show how her life turned around when her husband got abducted a decade and a half ago in a neighbouring state, where he often went for work. Since he didn't return, she started to take tuitions to support her family's finances. On the show, she won Rs 1 crore. Her strength and integrity led Big B to praise her.

Sushil Kumar

Sushil Kumar was the first contestant on Kaun Banega Crorepati season 5 to have won Rs 5 crore as prize money. He was a small time computer operator from Motihari in North Bihar when he became a winner. While his episode grabbed a lot of eyeballs, not many expected him to win the huge amount of money that he did.

Sunmeet Kaur

Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney from Mumbai made it big in the sixth edition of KBC. Sumeet, a housewife and tuition teacher, shared that she did not get to study after school. She also fought with tumour and battled with depression, thereafter. However, in the show she surprised everyone by winning Rs 5 crore. She told later to PTI that she believes knowledge is the key to success.

Megha Patil

In the 8th season of the game show, cancer survivor Megha Patil from Mumbai won Rs 1 crore. Patil was not only suffering from breast cancer but also liver cancer. She shared the she would use the prize money for her medical treatment and kids education. She credited her husband and family for being extremely supportive. She fought her circumstances, and became an unexpected winner of Rs 1 crore.

Manoj Kumar Raina

Hailing from Srinagar, Manoj Kumar Raina won Rs 1 crore in the third episode of KBC 6. Raina was a northern railway employee. He and his wife had government jobs and were settled in a small town near Jammu, when Manoj participated in the game show. He prepared hard to win the game show and proved that hard work and ambition can take one places.

Firoz Fatima

KBC season 7 saw Firoz Fatima from Sansarpur near Saharanpur, becoming the first woman contestant who won Rs 1 crore. She shared she wasn't able to pursue higher education after the death of her father, and hence, her winning a crore was a big achievement and quite unexpected. She belonged to a conservative Muslim family.

Achin and Sarthak Narula

Delhi brothers Achin and Sarthak created history by winning Rs 7 crore on KBC 8. While Achin was a marketing manager, Sarthak was a student when they participated. Even they didn't have great expectations from themselves, but they managed to outdo in the game.

Why are they "unexpected"? Are you judging by how they look or what they wear or where they live and only if they meet this certain criteria they will fit under term "expected". No wonder you are known as presstituttteesss!
