Kaun Banega Crorepati 13: From John Abraham’s emotional breakdown to Amitabh Bachchan recreating the Mohabbatein scene, a look at special moments from the episode

This week's Kaun Banega Crorepati’s Shaandar Shukravar invited John Abraham, Divya Khosla Kumar and director Nikhil Advani on the hot seats. The stunning Divya Khosla Kumar and director Nikhil Advani mentioned how they have been a huge fan of the show, and sitting on the hot seat and playing the game has been a dream come true moment for them. Divya told Big B how she was young when the show had started and she used to follow it religiously. Nikhil also mentioned that at 9pm only the sound of KBC was audible. Amitabh Bachchan felt extremely happy and thanked them for their love and mentioned that the show will soon complete 1000 episodes.

John Abraham worked alongside Amitabh Bachchan in his first film and shared an incident from the shooting of the film. John mentioned how during an action sequence with Big B, he did his move so hard that he broke the camera. The producers then told him that he isn’t fighting with an actor but the ‘national treasure of the country’ aka Big B. Amitabh Bachchan was speechless and felt embarrassed about this incident to be shared as he thought that the compliment was too much to take. Other than this, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan are also good friends and Big B commented that the two should pair up together soon for a film. Not only this, John also explained how Big B had loved the film Dostana and was laughing continuously throughout the film. The two even tried some football tricks together as the two talked about their love for the sport.

With John Abraham on the hot seat, this moment is a must. The hooting of females was so high that John was left with no option but to show his six pack abs. It was a total “hoot” moment as everyone from Big B to the audience, no one could stop applauding John’s figure.

John Abraham and one of his friends who had accompanied him to the show explained their good cause for playing the game and donating the prize money of ₹25,00,000 to an animal care centre. John explained how people ruthlessly treat animals for no reason and go to the extent of killing them just to prove their strength and power. John and his friends explained how they are working on trying to amend a law regarding this that hasn’t been amended since the 1960s. Their cause left everyone with wide eyes open about the condition of animals in the country.

After explaining the good cause, a video was played to show the actual state of animals and explain how shamelessly and ruthlessly people treat animals. The video left everyone with teary eyes, but John being extremely sensitive towards animals couldn’t hold back his tears and got extensively emotional. Amitabh Bachchan consoled him and he helped him with tissues and a glass of water. The moment made the viewers show how sensitive and caring John is as a person, and he received applause from many for taking the initiative to help the needy.

Nikhil shared an incident from the shooting of Mohabbatein. The director said he had just told Amitabh Bachchan his position on the camera, and felt proud of the fact that he directed Big B. He requested Big B to enact the Mohabbatein scene while he directs him. John Abraham and Amitabh Bachchan stood in front of each other, staring into each other’s eyes and Big B narrating his lines was extremely exciting to watch. After completing the lines, Big B himself said cut and everybody stood up to give a standing ovation.
