Rahul Roy could have been SRK: Karan Patel

Karan Patel, who is making a comeback to fiction genre with Ekta Kapoor’s Ye Hai Mohabbatein doesn’t believe that reality shows boost an actor’s career. The actor, who bagged the lead of Raman Bhalla in Ye Hai Mohabbatein, says that if reality shows really helped in bringing an actor’s career back into the spotlight than Rahul Roy would have been Shah Rukh Khan. “Jhalak obviously brought me back into the eye but it cannot necessarily boost one’s career. I mean that if careers of actors could be boosted just by doing Bigg Boss or Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa then today Rahul Roy, the first winner of Bigg Boss, would have been Shah Rukh Khan. I believe very strongly in destiny and time. Nothing happens before, after time and against destiny. Like for example, Cezanne Khan was not destined to do this show and it did not happen. I was destined to do it, the show happened to me. It’s all destiny,” said Karan Patel
