Hina Khan reveals she didn't want to do even three episodes of Naagin 5; asks fans not to troll anyone

Hina Khan's fans are upset as the actress only had a brief appearance in Ekta Kapoor's supernatural thriller, Naagin 5. It is only in the recent episodes that viewers and fans of the actress discovered that she was there only to launch the new season. The show has now been taken over by Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra among other talented actors. Hina's presence may have got fans excited but the actress is not interested in television at the moment. She said, "I had made it pretty clear months ago that I don't want to do television for a while. I still stick to it. Ideally, I didn't want to do the three episodic thing. I wasn't sure whether I should do it as I am exploring a different space. I really can't say no to Ekta and I really really respect her a lot." (Photo: Instagram)

Hina revealed she was called by Ekta for Naagin 5 and couldn't refuse. She revealed, "When she (Ekta) called me herself I couldn't say no. Had it been somebody else, I am openly saying I would have said no. But it was Ekta so I could not. I have a lot of respect for that lady. She is like an inspiration to me. She knows the fact that I don't want to do television. I was also offered Naagin 4 as well. Obviously main karna nahi chahti hoon, nahi toh I would have done it but I don't want to do TV." Hina further shared, "She approached me to launch the show, which is why I did it. I got such an overwhelming response from you all. Naagin is a different show. All these girls are so hot. I was quite nervous and skeptical. I feel blessed that I have reached a certain level that I have been considered to launch a show. I have only gratitude and I am blessed that way as I was given such a huge responsibility." (Photo: Instagram)

Hina is against any comparisons and requested fans to accept the new cast with an open heart. She also clarified it was her decision to quit the show. "Please don't blame anyone. It was my decision. I couldn't inform you all beforehand due to embargo. I launched the show and I am done with it." She added, " I'd request you not to troll anyone or spread hatred."

Hina requested fans to watch Naagin 5 for its talented actors and storyline. She said, "Please continue to shower your love on the popular actors. They are very talented. They are going to kill it, I am sure about it. We have brilliant performers in Naagin 5. Do give it a watch for the content and keep loving the show. Remember I was there on the show, even for those who don't watch the show, they should do so for it's a different storyline." (Photo: Instagram)

She shared, "I am exploring a different space. I am doing films and working in digital. But I always say 'never say never'. I don't know if I will do television. For now, I have taken a break. She said, "I know that you guys were shocked that I was there only for a limited time. But let's wait. There's Naagin 5, 6, 7, 8 and other seasons as well which will keep coming. The repeat episodes of Yeh Rishta are being rerun on one of the channels. Her character Akshara has received an amazing response for it, something Hina is thankful for. She said,"Thank you so much for missing me in Yeh Rishta. It's great that people are watching it. I don't usually talk about my character now but it is close to my heart. Thanks for watching the rerun of the show."

Talking about her future projects, Hina said, "I have other things in the pipeline. I am busy and shooting. God has been really kind during this pandemic. I thank Him every minute.
