Fauji (1989)

Fauji was Shah Rukh Khan's debut in the television world. He played the role of lieutenant Abhimanyu Rai in this tv series based on the Indian Army. Initially, Vikram Rai was supposed to be the hero of this show but the camera captured Shah Rukh's charm, and the entire script was altered to make Abhimanyu Rai the hero of Fauji.(Photo: Instagram)

Circus (1989 - 1990)

Circus was a television show set in a circus troupe and featured Shah Rukh Khan as Shekharan Rai in it. Apart from him, Makarand Deshpande, Ashutosh Gowariker and Pavan Malhotra were also a part of this show. Renuka Shahane played the lead opposite SRK.(Photo: Instagram)

Dil Dariya (1988 - 1989)

Doosra Keval (1989 - 1990)

Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a country boy named Keval, who goes to the town and never returns. The story is translated as memories of his mother, daughter and the villagers. Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? (2008)

Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? was a show hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. It was an adaptation of the American show, Are you smarter than a 5th grader?.
