It’s only been a week since Bigg Boss 17 went on-air and contestants have already been engaged in some major fights, drama and brewing emotions. While some of the contestants have formed close bonds in the show, others are still having a hard time. The first week of Bigg Boss 17 was full of entertainment and for those who have missed it, here’s a quick recap of the major highlights..

TV couples Vicky Jain-Ankita Lokhande and Neil Bhatt-Aishwarya Sharma are friends from before. The popular celebs have done another show- Smart Jodi together before Bigg Boss 17. However, their friendship saw a crack in the first week itself. While, Neil and Aishwarya have been feeling a weird vibe from the other couple, Vicky, on the other hand exposed Neil-Aishwarya’s relationship. He told Abhishek and Munawar that Neil is ‘stuck’ in the relationship and feels ‘suffocated’ with Aishwarya. That wasn’t all, Ankita and Aishwarya has a rift as well where the Pavitra Rishta fame called her ‘insecure.’

Udaariyaan actor Abhishek has had many fights ever since he stepped inside the Bigg Boss 17 house. However, what made Bigg Boss upset was Abhishek’s aggression. Abhishek was constantly seen trying to push the housemates and get into a physical fight. Bigg Boss gave him one final warning and during the Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan also schooled him for the same.

Former couple Isha and Abhishek, who made some serious allegations on the stage of Bigg Boss 17, were seen rebonding. However, it got fans and housemates confused. Isha and Abhishek, however, continued to hsare an on-off bond with one another. Host Salman Khan wasn’t very pleased with the same as well and called Isha a ‘liar.’ He showed the contestants video of Isha where she made some serious allegations and then being friends with him when he entered the show.

Former crime journalist Jigna Vohra is also in the headlines for her participation in the show. She made history by being the first ever contestant to hold a solo press conference inside the Bigg Boss house in the first two days of the show's launch. Jigna was asked several questions about dealing with depression, going to the jail and more. Jigna opened up about being a single mother and working really hard for her family. She further said that she was framed in the case and was sent behind the bars. She also addressed the affair rumours with the IAS officer and called them ‘baseless.’

Vicky and Ankita have had several fights this past week. The couple is juggling between playing the game and handling their relationship. Ankita has been seen complaining to Vicky about not getting his time and attention. After trying to sort things out several times, the two got into an ugly fight. Vicky reminded Ankita that he has come to the show to play a game and not run behind her.

Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande got into a heated fight with Khanzaadi after the rapper remarked that “she doesn’t do TV serials.” Ankita slammed her for looking down upon TV and said, “You guys are visible because of us, we are from television and Bigg Boss is a TV reality show.” Khanzaadi also had an ugly fight with Munawar when he tried to calm her down during the fight. The two got into an ugly spat and Munawar asked her to ‘get lost.’

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 17 had Kangana Ranaut as a special guest on the show. However, her constant support and praise for Ankita Lokhande made everyone upset. UK 07 Rider, Jigna and others talked about how the show is way too biased towards Ankita, Neil, Aishwarya and other TV stars. Anurag further said that the show doesn’t see them as winning material and that’s really sad. He said, “This time the show is only about TV and not the YouTubers or any other community. They have brought us in the show for entertainment and not as winning material. They take our names at 17th, 18th number, my parents will have to be awake till 12 am to see me on TV. It’s very biased and I’m not liking it”

Mannara and Ankita, who were initially seen sharing a great friendship, recently had a rift. It was about Ankita telling Mannara how she was expecting her to be there when she was feeling low. However, Mannara responded by saying that Isha is around her all the time and hence she doesn’t come. She even called her ‘Ankita’s assistant’, ‘Jr Ankita’ and more.
