From #MeToo accused Sajid Khan's participation to Zeeshan Khan hitting Pratik Sehajpal: Times when Bigg Boss was in news for wrong reasons

Bigg Boss has been one of the most talked-about reality shows, and viewers wait for its launch. Along with its fair share of entertainment, it features high-octane drama, budding love stories, rivalries, fights among contestants, and much more. Several times, the show and its contestants got mired in controversies as well. Here are some instances when Bigg Boss made headlines for all wrong reasons.

Sajid Khan's entry into the show has brought major call-outs. Fans are not happy with him being a part of the show and they have even called out the makers saying that they are only helping him clear his image in front of the viewers. Sajid has been accused of allegedly molesting 9 women which came during #MeToo movement.

During a violent fight with Sofia Hayat, Bigg Boss 7 participant Armaan Kohli is accused of hitting Sofia. In 2014, Sofia filed a complaint against him at the Santacruz police station. The case was transferred to Lonavala police station. Cops then came to the sets of the show and detained Armaan. Later, he was removed from the show too.

Jaan had acknowledged his affection for Nikki in the early episodes of the controversial reality show. The actress, however, also regarded him as a close friend. Jaan and Nikki experienced joyful times together throughout their time on BB 14, but one event nearly caused a rift in their relationship. Nikki had accused Jaan of kissing her without her consent. Later, Jaan ended all his ties with Nikki after coming out of the house.

When he nominated Jaan Kumar Sanu, Rahul Vaidya incited a commotion both within and outside the house by branding him a beneficiary of nepotism. Rahul responded to Jaan by telling him that Jaan is fortunate that his father is Kumar Sanu saying that Jaan doesn't need a well-known father. Jaan said, "Baap pe mat jaa," and warned Rahul. The latter, however, received praise from Twitterati for this, but Salman chastised him for it in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

There was no doubt that Swami Om was one of the most notorious BB10 competitors. He and the other housemates were frequently seen fighting, but things escalated when he reportedly ended up throwing urine on the other participants. This occurred while doing one of the captaincy duties. Even though Swami Om was determined to be the house captain, he found it challenging because the entire house was against him.

Salman's critical remarks on national television were too much for Zubair to handle, so he took a few tablets and was taken to the nearest hospital right away. He was brought to a hospital for treatment, according to sources from the shows. Salman criticised the director for using foul language during his clashes with Bandagi Kalra and Arshi Khan last week. The filmmaker had claimed to be the son-in-law of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar.

Zeeshan Khan had been ordered to leave the house because following a heated disagreement with Pratik, he attacked the latter physically. Basically, Zeeshan and Pratik got into a heated dispute during the "Red Flag" task. Zeeshan then physically attacked Pratik. In order to punish Zeeshan and instill a lesson in the other housemates, Bigg Boss requested him to leave the "Bigg Boss OTT" house after the argument turned violent and physical with Pratik.

The Deshdrohi actor had thrown a bottle at Rohit Verma during the show, injuring actress Shamita Shetty in the meantime. Additionally, Vindu Dara Singh made unsuccessful attempts to manage him. He warned KRK about using violence inside the home but the latter was out of control. Later, Kamaal even claimed that he has anger management issues and that he cannot control his wrath.
