Actress Charu Asopa made her comeback to daily soaps with Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjana (KHYRA) after a three-year maternity break. However, after 10 months of entertaining the fans with her role in the show, she decided to make an exit. The actress has come to the realization that she needs to prioritize being there for her two-year-old daughter. She said, “There was a lot of pressure on me, so I took up the first opportunity that came my way. However, I began to have doubts about continuing on the show around six months ago. Despite this, I stayed on, believing I could manage it. Of course, my production house has been extremely supportive, granting me leave whenever necessary. However, whenever I reported to the shoot, something would crop up at home demanding my immediate attention. Besides, there were times when Ziana wasn’t feeling well. These circumstances made me realise I was needed at home. I have understood that I can’t juggle a daily soap along with taking care of Ziana. She is at a stage where she absorbs everything quickly. That’s why I am reluctant to bring her to the chaotic set environment. I want to oversee every aspect of her development. These are her formative years and I need to be there to instill strong values. Motherhood takes precedence and Ziana is my top priority. I will have to take a break from daily soaps as they require a minimum of 14 hours.”

Disha, famous for her unforgettable portrayal of Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has captured the hearts of many fans. The actress went on maternity leave in 2017 and unfortunately did not make a comeback after that. Fans have been eagerly anticipating her return, but as of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding her comeback.

Hina Khan has been adored for her remarkable portrayal of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. It was surprising for many when she decided to leave the show after nearly 8 years. Her departure was controversial, influenced by the show's leap. Subsequently, she appeared on Bigg Boss and later on Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Aishwarya Sharma, who is well-known for playing Pakhi in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, made waves with her departure from the show. Initially portrayed as the antagonist, her character evolved into a positive one post-leap, earning her significant acclaim. However, Aishwarya expressed her desire to expand her acting horizons and explore new ventures. She later appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss 17.

In 2015, Shinde played the lead role in &TV's Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!. Shinde became a household name with her portrayal of Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!, but she quit in March 2016 after having several issues with the makers and accusing them of mentally torturing her. Shinde was replaced by Shubhangi Atre.

Shailesh Lodha, who played the beloved character Taarak, bid farewell to the show due to a disagreement with producer Asit Kumar Modi. He fought a legal battle to get his outstanding due after quitting the show. Sachin Shroff now takes on the role and continues to entertain the audience.

Gashmeer portrayed the character of Aditya in the TV show Imlie. Fans adored his chemistry with his co-star Sumbul Touqeer. However, the actor had to leave the show as the show's producers couldn't meet some of Gashmeer's requirements. According to a source, "Despite efforts to retain him, as he is a central figure in the show alongside female lead Sumbul Touqeer Khan, negotiations faltered when producer Gul Khan couldn't agree to certain terms set by Gashmeer."

Raj Anadkat played the role of Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He left the show midway and later confirmed the same on social media. He said, “Hello Everyone, It's time to lay all questions and speculation to rest. My association with Neela Film Productions and 'Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma' has officially ended. It has been a wonderful journey of learning, making friends and having some of the best years of my career. I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this journey - The entire team of TMKOC, my friends, family and of course all of you Everyone who welcomed me into the show and loved me as ' TAPU ' Your love for my craft has always pushed me to give my best to each and every one of you, every single time. In March 2017, during a flight back to Melbourne, Australia, to India, Kapil Sharma had allegedly verbally abused Sunil Grover. Following this incident, Sunil chose not to return to The Kapil Sharma Show. Subsequently, other co-stars such as Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar also left the show.

Dheeraj, a key figure in the TV series Kundali Bhagya, bid farewell to the show last year. Fans on the internet showered him with love for his role as Karan Luthra, and they were taken aback by the news of his departure. The actor explained that he had to exit the show due to new responsibilities. He expressed, "Leaving Kundali Bhagya was a tough choice. It was an emotional moment for me. The character will always hold a special place in my heart, and I cherished unforgettable moments on the sets of Kundali Bhagya. It was a challenging decision, but now I have new responsibilities and a new character to portray, so my focus is on that."
