Set to begin shooting from April
This was something Sajid had planned before entering Bigg Boss 16. The filmmaker had announced in the premiere episode that he is going to direct a film that will see Shehnaaz Gill playing the lead role. Sajid would be returning to the silver screen after a 4 year-long gap. The movie is expected to go on floors by April 2023.

ETimes TV exclusively learned that Soundarya has bagged a song in Sajid's film. The actress has been confirmed for the number and if everything goes well, she will be shooting for it soon.
Sajid catches SRK's film Pathaan
Sajid was spotted after watching Shah Rukh Khan's film Pathaan. Speaking to an entertainment portal, he called it 'extraordinary' and predicted that it will be the first Hindi film to cross Rs 500 crore.
Sajid interacts with the press after a long gap post eviction
Sajid, who did not give any interview before or after Bigg Boss 16, spoke to the media about his reasons for joining the show. He said, "I wanted to connect with the audience and show them my real side. The show’s format is such that you can fake your personality for 10-15 days but you can’t act for 107 days." Sajid added, "The contestants were really good and gracious. They all loved and respected me and I could win their heart. I looked after Abdu, Nimrit, MC Stan, Sumbul and Shiv like my family."
Appearance on Bigg Boss 16
Sajid also appeared on the show post his eviction with good friend Abdu Rozik. The two BB buddies had a gala time on the show interacting with Salman Khan and the contestants with whom they also played games.
Visits Farah Khan's house with Abdu Rozik
Right after their exit from Bigg Boss 16, Sajid and Abdu were hosted by former's sister Farah Khan at her home for dinner. Farah posted photos wherein Abdu was seen enjoying burgers.
