From Ayushmaan wanting to play a role in DDLJ's sequel to the boys calling Archana Puran Singh 'second class'; Sethis ring in Baisakhi with Chole Bhature food spree

Archana Puran Singh and her family, husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan have been on a delightful food trail lately, diving into Mumbai’s most iconic eats. After sampling the city's top vada pav and dosa joints in their previous vlogs, their latest adventure took them on a mission to find the best chole bhature in town.

Their Chole spree begins

True to their style, the video was packed with laughter, light-hearted teasing, and plenty of playful banter; no one was safe from a good-natured roast. Along the way, the family’s conversations took hilarious turns: they brainstormed a sequel to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, poked fun at Aaryamann about having a girlfriend, and even joked about getting Parmeet married all over again.

It was another wholesome, laughter-filled outing that showcased not just Mumbai’s food scene but the undeniable bond this family shares. Archana and the family were blown away by the chole bhature at their very first stop, so much so that Archana jokingly threatened to steal the chef and bring him home to cook for her every day!

Archana goes to the stars' favourite chole kulche spot

Their next destination had a different charm altogether. The warmth and hospitality of the owner instantly won them over. He proudly shared stories of his famous clientele, names like Shakti Kapoor, Bharti Singh and Kiku Sharda are regulars, and just the other day, Ajay Devgn’s mother had ordered some kulche chole from the place. Archana says, "Yahan pura Comedy Circus aur Kapil Sharma Show aaya hai."

Archana on why the boys don't speak in Punjabi

Even though he’s Punjabi himself, Parmeet cheekily claimed that there isn’t much of a difference between kulche chole and bhature chole. So, sticking with that logic, the family happily dug into the Amritsari-style dish at the second spot, savoring every bite while keeping the laughs coming. While Archana spoke to the fans in Punjabi, the boys tried speaking in a few phrases too. Archana then said, "I know our kids don't know Punjabi well, but Parmeet is at fault." Parmeet said, "We barely speak Punjabi in Mumbai, so that is why they don't speak fluently."

Parmeet and Aaryamann on how DDLJ's sequel should be made

At their third stop, the food wasn’t the only thing serving up surprises—Parmeet got a little creative and pitched an alternate ending to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, joking that maybe his character should’ve ended up with the girl instead! That set off a chain reaction of ideas, and Aaryamann jumped in with a full-blown sequel pitch. “Shah Rukh and Kajol have a daughter, Kuljeet gets married and has a son—also a classic tough Punjabi guy—and years later, their kids fall in love. Shah Rukh basically becomes Amrish Puri,” he said, cracking up the whole family. Everyone was genuinely impressed with his imaginative take—and his perfect balance of drama and nostalgia. Ayushmaan said, "I am ready to take the role."

Mango Lassi and the Sethi boys

The food at this stop was just as memorable. Parmeet and Archana reveal they have been ordering all their delicacies for years. Parmeet has been coming to the place since the owner's grandfather used to run it. Ayushmaan, in particular, couldn’t stop raving about the mango lassi. “The best mango lassi in the world is in New York. I don’t know why, but every Indian restaurant there has it. This one tastes just like that,” he said, clearly delighted.

Aary jokingly calls Archana 'second class'

At one point, when Parmeet cracked one of his classic jokes about leaving Archana, she shot back with a grin, proudly declaring, “Excuse me, I’m a first-class wife.” That’s when Ayushmaan, with perfect comic timing, leaned in and whispered, “Mom, you’re second class.” Archana gasped dramatically, half-amused, half-scandalized. “You’re saying this about your own mother? What will you do when he gets you a new mom?” she asked. Parmeet didn’t miss a beat. “Party,” he said with a straight face, sending the entire family and probably everyone watching into fits of laughter.
