From Ashneer Grover, Vineeta Singh to Anupam Mittal: All the business entrepreneurs from Shark Tank India

Shark Tank India is currently in the third season, which airs on the OTT platform. The previous 2 seasons were a major success on TV. While some Sharks are no longer a part of show, there are several business entrepreneurs, who joined panel this season. Here’s a look at all the business honchos of Shark Tank India.

Ashneer Grover is the former co-founder and managing director of Indian Fintech company BharatPe. The Third Unicorn CEO was a part of the first season and made quite a noise with his presence.

Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh continues to be a part of the show since it’s inception. In 2021, Forbes India listed Vineeta as one of its Forbes India W-Power list of women achievers.

Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group, Anupam Mittal has made a significant presence in the show. Known for his vast knowledge, he often engages in insightful comments while discussing with the pitchers.

Ritesh Agarwal, founder and CEO of OYO Rooms, is one of the youngest billionaires in India. He joined the panel in the third season and also donned the cap of a father by welcoming a baby boy.

Peyush is the co-founder and CEO of Lenskart.com and has been a part of the show since the first season. His playful banter with Aman Gupta is quite known throughout the seasons.

Mama Earth Co-founder Ghazal Alagh was a part of the first season and took an exit from show. She was initially hesitant to do the show as she was eight months pregnant.

Aman Gupta is known for his sassy presence. The co-founder and CMO of boAt, has had many playful instances with female pitchers, which went viral on social media. Aman even addressed them saying, “My wife and I laugh it out.”

Namita is famously known for her one-liners like ‘Yeh meri expertise nahi hai’ on the show and her competitive spirit. The Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals LTD, has been a part of the show since the first season.

The CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com had to give four hours of audition to be a part of the panel. He joined the panel in the second season and has been a part of the third season too.

The Founder and CEO of Zomato, Deepinder joined this season. His presence in the show made netizens compare him to Ashneer Grover. Users made comments like, "Deepinder is Ashneer lite version," "Deepinder full Ashneer mode me hai," and others.

Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, joined the Shark Tank India 3 panel in the third season as one of the 6 news Sharks. She spoke about her choice of sarees on the show and shared that she took personal interest in them. She told ETimes TV, “I wanted to make the saree more visible. In fact, there's a running joke that if there's a sari pitch so then Radhika is like excited.”

Founder and CEO of Acko, Varun Dua joined the show this season. He’s garnered much praise for building better business processes and efficient product management.

Ronnie Screwvala is the Co-Founder & Chairperson of UpGrad) and joined the panel this season. In 2009, Ronnie Screwvala earned a spot on Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential personalities. Media reports indicate that he holds the title of the wealthiest individual in Bollywood.

Azhar Iqubal joined the latest season and known as the Co-founder and CEO of Inshorts. He was quite thrilled to be a part of a reality show. He had told ETimes TV, “In last 10 years, when I was building my business, I led a different life. This reality show world is very different. Have never seen this side of the world. This was a good learning experience.”
