These are sweet TV jodis that audiences have loved over the years

Even today people have not forgotten the beautiful bond that Tulsi and Mihir Virani shared in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Over the years, there have been many onscreen couples who have had great chemistry on screen and audiences have loved to see them together. From the current Anupama-Anuj to the previous Anugrag-Prerna, jodi, here's a look at some of Indian television's most memorable jodis...

2/11

Tulsi Virani and Mihir Virani from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

Tulsi and Mihir's characters played by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay (and later Ronit Roy) were appreciated by viewers. Amar was even brought back from the dead because people missed him and did not want to see Tulsi in a sad state. The couple's equation on the show changed over the eight years that it aired, but the love remained intact.

3/11

Anupama and Anuj Kapadia from Anupamaa

One of the most loved couples on screen today, this couple from the Anupamaa has shown how one can be romantic and mushy at any age. Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna essay these roles. Whether it was their romantic gestures or emotional moments, audiences seem to have embraced it

4/11

Dr Preeta and Karan from Kundali Bhagya

Actors Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar are one of the popular TV jodis. Fans have loved PreeRan from Kundali Bhagya, not only on the show but also on social media. Dheeraj quit the show a long time back, but their pairing is still remembered.

5/11

Fateh And Tejo from Udaariyaan

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta of Udaariyaan were seen as Fateh and Tejo. They grabbed the spot on this list because audiences have loved their onscreen chemistry. After they quit the fiction show, they were seen in Bigg Boss too.

6/11

Kartik Goenka and Naira Singhania from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Kartik and Naira are still loved. Played by Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, people loved the innocence and their beautiful journey. Their chemistry on screen was one of the high points for the show. The two actors moved on after the show took a leap in 2021.

7/11

Anurag Basu and Prerna Basu from Kasauti Zindagi ki

Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan played Prerna and Anurag on the show and the audience fell in love with them. Of course, later the show went through bizarre twists and turns, but this is one onscreen couple that viewers will never forget.

8/11

Manav Deshmukh and Archana Deshmukh from Pavitra Rishta

Viewers of Pavitra Rishta liked the pairing of Manav and Archana played by the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande. They made the audience connect with them on an emotional level.

9/11

Ram Kapoor and Priya Kapoor from Bade Acche Lagte Hain

Bade Acche Lagte Hain which aired years ago starred Ram Kapoor (who played Ram) and Sakshi Tanwar (who played Priya). They were not your regular youngsters falling in love; theirs was a mature love story that viewers felt was a refreshing change on TV.

10/11

Sooraj Rathi and Sandhya Rathi from Diya Aur Baati Hum

This TV couple's story went on for years on television and people liked the graph of their relationship. It's a story of love post marriage. How they come close, the love and respect they have for each other and how they stick to each other through the highs and lows. Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh played the lead characters.

11/11

Abhishek Mehra and Pragya Mehra from Kumkum Bhagya

One such couple on TV who were not just loved for their drama on the show, but also for their off-screen banter is Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia. They played the roles of Abhi and Pragya and in the show Kumkum Bhagya. The show has been on for many years. At one point, people felt Abhi and Pragya's story was being dragged and hence the show took a time leap and newer actors were brought in. But that doesn't change the fact that this one will always remain one of TV's unforgettable jodis.
