Bond with Digvijay Singh Rathee - I call him Gentle Giant

When Digvijay entered the Bigg Boss house I wasn’t his favourite but he was very important for Chum and Karan Veer and for me if someone is your friend’s friend you can at least be cordial and give them that respect. I just did what I do in my normal life and as time passed he realised I’m different as a person but we didn’t get much time to change his perception about me. When we met that day we spoke and he is a very nice guy. We had one task in the BB house and he was very gentle so I used to always tell him you are a gentle giant. He is very respectful towards everyone and he values his people and I learnt that from him in the Bigg Boss house. Because inside the show, I used to call joh sahi hai Woh sahi hai joh galat Woh galat bhale hai us mein apne log kyu na ho. But I learnt that when our own people are involved we need to protect them in front of the world. These things I’ve learnt from this generation. (Photo: Instagram)

On not being invited to Vivian's party

Honestly, I did not feel bad about not being invited to Vivian’s party. In fact, the party happened on Jan 21st and I was not even in the city but when I saw the photos the next day, I realised that Vivian and Nouran had kept the party and only the three of us were missing. I did not feel bad or hurt because it was their party and it was their decision who they wanted to invite. So I really don’t know how to react to this answer. But as I have always said Vivian is my first friend that I made in the Bigg Boss house that is special for me. What he thinks of me is not in my control. Whatever happened in the Bigg Boss house I’ve left that inside. (Photo: Instagram)

My relationship will not change on the basis of one invitation

Obviously, when I was leaving the BB house, he realised a lot of things and apologised. In fact, when I went inside the Bigg Boss house for the finale performance, I knew Vivian was very apologetic about the whole thing and we met very beautifully. Mere joh teen special relationships bane the Bigg Boss mein woh mere liye humesha precious rahenge. My relationship will not change on the basis of one invitation. (Photo: Instagram)

On Rajat calling her 'Neech'

Rajat's words had stopped affecting me in the BB 18 house only. Honestly, I don’t think I even need to give a reaction for this because I believe in each one to their own. He is doing what he knows best and I’m doing what I know best. I feel jaise Maine ghar mein reaction dena chod diya tha Waise main Yahan par bhi reaction na doon toh sahi rahega. I don’t feel bad about the kind of words he has used for me because we get to know about people from their interviews or how they speak. If he feels this is the way he needs to talk and he has to behave this way to people then good for him. I can’t change anyone. I am in no position and I’m not interested also to be honest. I’m not carrying any baggage of hate or disgust

Whatever happened in the Bigg Boss house it is done now. I have left everything there in that Bigg Boss house. If we meet in future I think we all will meet very cordially with each other. I know to surviving in that house without relationship is very difficult and everyone has contributed to my presence in the house. There is a lot of mutual admiration, respect and love for everyone. I’m not carrying any baggage of hate or disgust. I think that is me as a person. (Photo: Instagram)

Sridevi ji never made me realise that I was a newbie

For me Khuda Kawah is one of my most special films. We couldn’t shoot in Afghanistan and Kabul because a team of only male actors shot there. It is a very beautiful film for me because I was working with my favourite Amit ji for the second time and Mukul sir who actually groomed me through Hum, then Sridevi ji who was always affectionate and beautiful towards me all the time. She never made me realise that I was a newbie. (Photo: Instagram)

Khuda Gawah was like a life lesson

In the entire unit I was the new one. I can’t express in words how the experience was to work with all these stalwarts. The film was like a life lesson as I worked with these legends, Nag sir was also there. The learning lesson was that no matter how big you become in life, you should always treat people around you equally and respectfully. When I went inside Bigg Boss and a few people misbehaved with me I was told you have done so many films how can people treat you this way, I realised you can’t carry your baggage everywhere. Had I carried this baggage I wouldn’t have survived even for a week. You are who you are but you have to treat everyone equally. (Photo: Instagram)

On not being able to do Chaiyaa Chaiyaa - I felt it was a lost opportunity

For me it never mattered so much when I couldn’t do Chaiyya Chaiyya at that time. It only mattered for me because it was my dream to work with Mani sir who made Dil Se. As an actor it was my dream and there I felt it was a lost opportunity unfortunately because of my weight. Aur aisa nahi hai ke Maine koshish nahi ki to lose weight but 15 days may not have been enough time. Today things have changed and there is work for everyone but to be honest you need to be presentable. Like I recently met my sister and I was telling her that people were stopping me at the airport and were telling me “ma’am aap itni patli ho”. I’ve heard this for the first time about me so people are watching you and talking about the change. I’m so glad and for me to be working with the best I need to look the best. I’m making a conscious effort to stay like this. (Photo: Instagram)

I’m very lucky that I’ve my husband Upresh in my life

I have no regrets of leaving the industry, and I’m very lucky that I’ve my husband Upresh in my life. He was at the peak of his career and he left that for me, had he continued he would have been at a different level. But everyone has their destiny calling and we have also seen that. Today I’m doing what I’m doing because I’ve a very supportive family. (Photo: Instagram)
