Coronavirus effect: Vindu Dara Singh cancels the Bigg Boss party; Karan Singh Grover postpones his art exhibition

Vindu Dara Singh, who has been ardently supporting Sidharth Shukla in Bigg Boss 13, was going to throw a party in his honour. In a recent tweet he stated that the party has been called off for the moment. He wrote, “Keeping everyone's health and well being in mind we have postponed the #BBparty due to Coronavirus from the 15th of March ...Will keep you updated on the date soon..Stay safe everyone!”

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Karan Singh Grover, who was gearing up for his art exhibition, Star Infinity has been rescheduled. Karan and his wife, Bipasha Basu Singh Grover took to their respective social media handles to let their followers know that they've decided to postpone the art exhibition and its preview that was earlier dated for March 17. The couple expressed that this move was in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India and the World Health Organisation.

Comedian Ali Asgar kept sharing videos of hawkers washing utensils and vegetable in dirty water and had a funny take on the Coronavirus. He said that no virus can harm us.

Bigg Boss 13’s first runner-up Asim Riaz was supposed to attend an event in Jammu Kashmir and also expressed his wish to visit the place. But during a live chat he revealed that he had to cancel the plan due to the current coronavirus scare.

Beyhadh 2 actor Shivin Narang had to travel to Kyrgyzstan for shooting a music video took proper precautions while travelling. Shivin wore a proper mask to avoid infection and said, "It was a short work trip to Kyrgyzstan. I went there for a music video. The whole world is having trouble with the coronavirus and one should take proper precautions to avoid any issue. Prevention is better than cure.”

The Yeh Rishta actress shared, “As responsible citizens, we should take adequate measures to prevent the spread of this global epidemic. In this era of social media, a lot of people spread rumors through various platforms and apps. I wanted to do my bit by spreading correct news as I follow WHO (World Health Organisation). I urge my celebrity friends to follow suit and spread awareness about precautionary measures as much as possible.”

TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary took to social media to spread awareness. He shared a video wearing a mask and can be seen avoiding a handshake from a random person. He wrote, “Be safe from corona virus. pls karona hand shake sirf karo Namaste.”
