Palak Purswani, who won hearts with her stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2 and is making waves with her acting projects, is putting her clout to good use outside the entertainment industry. The actress is working to teach underprivileged children English for free, to give them confidence and better opportunities through education.“I’ve always believed that success is more meaningful when you use it to make a positive impact in someone else’s life,” said Palak, talking about how the initiative began. “Many children from underprivileged backgrounds are deprived of opportunities that others take for granted,” she said. “Teaching English, something so simple, could open doors for them in the future,” she added.Palak is a passionate teacher and even continues to regularly take classes in between her hectic acting schedule. Explaining her motivation, she says: “Most of the children I teach come from Hindi-medium schools and I felt that helping them learn English could make a real difference in their future. She also stressed that the intention in contributing to a cause is what counts, and added that she tries to teach at least twice a week, because consistency matters.The actress recalled her first encounter with the children, calling it a very heartwarming experience.
“They welcomed me with so much love and enthusiasm from day one,” she said. Over the years, she’s developed a close bond with the kids, who look forward to her classes and often welcome her with hugs and excitement.She said, “Watching them grow has been one of the most rewarding things of my life. She said seeing them learn to communicate more effectively and seeing their progress has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of her life, noting that every small victory makes her proud.The actress is looking forward to expanding her ventures and educating more children. “I truly believe every child deserves access to learning and opportunities, no matter their background,” she said. Palak aims to motivate more people to come forward and help transform young lives through education, through awareness campaigns and sponsorship programmes.
