Bigg Boss 13: Contestants to watch out for this season

Bigg Boss 13 premiered yesterday (September 29), and the evening saw Salman Khan, the host of the show, introducing all the 13 contestants to the audience. Even though this time the all-celebrity line-up is quite entertaining, there are a few who managed to stand out from the rest and looked like strong contenders of the trophy.

Dalljiet Kaur, who is a single mom to Jaydon, shared she is open to finding love in the house. In a video clipping, she spoke about her separation, and how difficult the time was for her - financially and emotionally. She hugged her son before leaving the stage. Within no time, the Internet was flooded with praise for her. Dalljiet, who has done several popular shows on television like Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, is quite solid emotionally and she stands a strong chance to make it to the finals.

Rashami Desai is another contestant who started to trend during the show. On the premiere night, Rashami was her candid self, and dismissed the reports of her second marriage in the house with rumoured beau Arhaan Khan. To make her feel comfortable, Salman told her even he goes through the same and his name gets attached to anyone and everyone. Interestingly, Sidharth Shukla, who had worked with Rashami in Dil Se Dil Tak, shared how the latter's honesty can put her into trouble inside the house. Rashami's 'calling a spade a spade' attitude might make her one of the most talked about contestants.

Sidharth Shukla, who was last seen in Dil Se Dil Tak, was an immediate favourite with the ladies. While he was called a gentleman by Mahira, Devoleena, Rashami, Dalljiet chose him for sharing their household responsibilities. He is one actor whose potential affairs with the single ladies in the house could make some noise. What's lesser known is that Sidharth has temper issues. Another reason he could be in the headlines.

She was the most entertaining contestant on stage during the premiere episode. While the viewers might have not known the singer-actress before, she certainly made her presence felt with her antics last night. Hilariously, she called herself 'Punjab Ki Katrina Kaif' and won Salman Khan's heart. When she called herself chubby, Salman gave her a hug and told her she is not. Be it her interaction with Shefali on stage or bitching about her, she was quite an entertainer and one who could make the season worth watching.

Mahira Sharma was the first lady contestant Salman introduced on stage. She was called 'beauty with brains' by other contestants. Mahira was sharp and quick-witted on stage. While Asim tried to impress her with his style, she made him her 'bhai'. She told him they were from Jammu & Kashmir, hence, they couldn't be anything else but siblings. Her on-point answers and confidence make her someone to watch out for.

Asim Riaz caught everyone's attention for his Engilsh. In fact, during the whole episode Salman joked about his language and being called a 'bhai' for trying to impress Mahira. Salman told Dalljiet that Asim went to Australia for two months, and learned English there. He added Asim flaunts his English in India now. Asim was also teased by male contestants Siddharth Shukla, Abu Malik and Paras Chhabra for Mahira's comment. He even got into a war of words with Paras. Considering he's a newsmaker already, he's someone who might entertain the audience with his acts.

Television hunk Paras Chhabra turned out to be a hot-blooded guy. He flaunted his cleavage on stage and called himself a 'sanskaari playboy'. During the premiere episode itself, he got aggressive with Asim, and even threatened to slap him. His temper and attitude might land him in trouble, and make him one of the most controversial contestants.
