Bhavika Sharma roped in to play the new lead in Seher Hone Ko Hai

The makers of Seher Hone Ko Hai have finally found their new leading lady. After an extensive search to replace Rishita Kothari in the titular role, Bhavika Sharma has been finalised to headline the show. We have learnt that while contractual formalities are currently being worked out, the actress has been locked for the part.

Before arriving at a decision, the makers reportedly considered several names, including Shivangi Joshi, Mallika Singh, Riya Sharma and Himanshi Parashar. Interestingly, Bhavika’s name had been doing the rounds from the very beginning, and it now appears that she has won the race to play the new Seher.

The casting development comes amid a period of transition for the show. Seher Hone Ko Hai has witnessed significant changes in recent weeks, including the exits of Mahhi Vij and Rishita Kothari. Bhavika’s arrival is likely to add a fresh dimension to the narrative.’


Bhavika has built a diverse television career with shows such as Parvarrish - Season 2, Jiji Maa, Ye Ishq Nahin Asaan and Maddam Sir. However, she became a household name with her portrayal of IPS Savi Chavan Thakkar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. She joined the popular drama in 2023 during a major cast revamp following a generational leap in the storyline. Introduced as a determined and independent young woman with a strong sense of justice, Savi’s journey eventually saw her realise her dream of becoming a police officer. Bhavika later exited the daily soap, making way for newcomer Vaibhavi Hankare, who fronted the next phase of the story. However, in April, Bhavika returned to Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which eventually concluded its run in July 2025.

If all goes as planned, Seher Hone Ko Hai will mark Bhavika’s next major television outing and a fresh chapter in the show’s evolving journey. Bhavika remained unavailable for comment.
