Awez Darbar to quit Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 due to a knee injury; A look at his highly impressive performance and judges' reaction in the first week

The Social media sensation Awez Darbar impressed the judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 in his first stupendous act that they had to make him enter as a contestant in the show. However, according to the reports in IANS, while rehearsing for his second act for the dance reality show, Awez injured his knee which resulted in an MCL Tear Grade 3 on his right leg. Following the same, the dancer will not be a part of the reality show as it will take him at least 2 months to start dancing again. Awez's first weekend in Jhalak was enough for him to create a major buzz. A look at how the social media star won hearts:

When Awez first surprised the judges and Gauahar on the stage, she excitedly shared, "Rishte mein toh humare jheth lagte hai." She later mentioned, "He is actually younger than me but rishta humara jheth aur bhabhi ka hai."

After Awez's first performance, a proud Gauahar shared, "He is so popular on Social media, but this is his debut on TV with Jhalak. I am really proud of him. He always has a smile on his face, he has done so much hard work and made a name for himself. Despite being the son of the legendary Ismail Darbar, he chose to carve his own path and touch success."

Malaika Arora and Arshad Warsi were highly impressed by Awez's performance. Arshad said, "Awez, I am extremely happy that you have participated in the show. Your whole body even your tongue was dancing. You held on to every beat in the dance." Malaika said, "I enjoyed this chhapri, tapori dance completely."

Farah was extremely happy with Awez's first performance, she shared, "This was completely wild. I thoroughly enjoyed your performance. The tappori dance that you did, Shiv thoda sambhal ke tera competition aa gaya hai. Awez you need to only work on your floor work a little, rest you are amazing."

When Gauahar asked the celebs who should have a dance-off with Awez, all of them too Adrija's name. While having the dance-off, Adrija and Awez left the judges, celebs and even the choreographers stunned with their dancing skills. Arshad was left shocked, though he chose Adrija as the winner, he couldn't stop admiring Awez.

Farah Khan was stunned watching Awez perform solo in the dance-off, she said, "I want to ask you Awez, why didn't you dance like this in the main act? You would have scored 30. After all the performances, the judges revealed that they had one power to choose one of the wild card contestants to get direct entry into the contestants' panel. After a discussion, they decided to choose Awez Darbar on the judges' demand to be a part of the show.
