The family is mourning the loss of Neha’s father, Rakesh Chandra Swami, who passed away on Thursday morning following a sudden medical emergency. As per reports in the media, Arjun's father-in-law, was admitted to the hospital as he suffered a stroke. He had been on a ventilator for the past three days before passing away on January 1. He was 73 years old. His funeral took place today in Mumbai, where the entire family gathered to bid an emotional farewell to Neha’s father. In one of the visuals from the funeral, Arjun was seen getting emotional and was also spotted comforting his teary-eyed son, Ayaan. He hugged him and kissed him on the forehead.

A source close to the family informed us that Arjun’s father-in-law was admitted to the hospital on December 29 after suffering a brain stroke. Upon learning about his condition, Arjun rushed back to Mumbai on December 30, as he was placed on a ventilator. Unfortunately, he passed away today (January 1).One of Arjun's family members was quoted sharing details of his father-in-law's sudden demise to Hindustan Times, "He was fit and fine, set to have dinner when suddenly he suffered a stroke and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was on a ventilator.
