The Himachal Pradesh landslide, which claimed young doctor Deepa Sharma’s (24) life, shared moments of her trip on Twitter. The young doctor, who hailed from Jaipur, was so excited for the trip and she didn’t even sleep the day before leaving. All of her last moments from the trip are now just a memoir. She posted a picture on the day of the landslide (July 25). It was at the Indo-Tibetan border and she wrote, “Standing at the last point of India where civilians are allowed. Beyond this point around 80 kms ahead we have border with Tibet whom china has occupied illegally.” Pic: Twitter

Chronicling her journey, she shared her excitement in a tweet before commencing the trip. Her tweet read, “It was my first night in years when I didn't sleep at all for even a few minutes. Reason- Started packing for trip after 12 am which completed after sunrise.” This tweet will definitely send shivers down your spine thinking about the lost young soul.

As people are mourning the loss of lives in the sudden landslide, Dr. Deepa’s reality show connection has come to light. Deepa herself had shared a series of pictures in 2019 from her reality show participation. She had participated in season 7 and had reportedly won Rs 6,40,000 on the show. Dr. Deepa Sharma was a fan of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and she also had the opportunity to meet her. Mourning her demise, Kangana wrote, ‘Such a great fan, she sent me lovely letters and showered me with gifts and also visited my house in Manali... Oh!!! Seems like a big jolt...This is beyond tragic.... Oh God!!!’
