Bengali TV’s one of the most popular non-fiction shows, 'Didi No. 1' is ready to make this year’s Holi celebration more colourful. The TV show will air special episodes from March 18 to March 20 featuring some of the most popular celebrities of Tollywood, including Iman Chakraborty, her hubby Nilanjan Ghosh, actors Jeetu Kamal-Nabanita, Sonali Chowdhury-Rajat Ghosh Dastidar, Sourav Saha, his wife Sushmita Saha, director Swarnenu Samaddar with actress girlfriend Shruti Das, Madhubani-Raja Goswami and many others. ​Basanta Utsab

Didi No. 1, which is currently airing its 9th season hosted by ever-charming actress Rachna Banerjee, is ready to celebrate Holi with full enthusiasm. While the set was beautifully decorated, our host added more colours to the environment with her charming presence. Dressed in a beautiful traditional saree and ornaments, Rachna looked stunning during the shoot.

It’s indeed a gala event in ‘Didi No. 1’. The upcoming episodes are filled with fun and surprises. The celebrity couples played with aabir, shared their old memories with the host and engaged in some fun-filled activities, too. Here’s a sneak peek

One of the upcoming episodes will feature singer Iman and her hubby Nilanjan too. While the duo played fun games, they also performed some melodious songs during the shoot.

Sourav, who became a household name playing Sree Ramakrishna Paramhansa in period-drama ‘Rani Rashmoni’ will also appear with his wife Susmita.

Lovebirds

While Bengali viewers are already aware of the fact that director Swarnendu Samaddar is dating actress Shruti Das, the lovebirds will be seen making a public appearance on TV for the first time. The lovey-dovey couple shared their love story with host Rachna during the shoot and played with Aabir, too.
