As this is a large track of land, the visitors take up a variety of outdoor activities. A sizable public park with plenty of attractionsNoteworthy for: Wiener Prater contains a gigantic Ferris wheel, which was featured in the Orson Well’s movie, ‘The Third Man.’
Word to the wise: Entrance into the park is free, but the attractions, concessions and rides are not. Wiener Prater is a good place to get rid of your loose change and small bills.

As this is a large track of land, the visitors take up a variety of outdoor activities. You can come here for a leisurely stroll, inline skating, biking or to simply relax in the grass with a basket of food and a blanket, ready for a picnic spread.
In addition to the green spaces, there is an amusement park, with a bounty of different rides to choose from. Spend your day on the Ferris wheel (Riesenrad), carousels, Prater Tower (spinning tower) and the small roller coaster. If you have children, or just like to play, the amusement park is a good place to while the hours away. If you prefer a bit of nature (away from the screaming youngsters), there are plenty of corners in the park where you can relax, or even hide.
