Noteworthy for: Villa Arson is more than just a regular art museum; there's also a school, gallery, research centre and housing for artists in residence.

Housed in the former École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs building dating back to 1881, Villa Arson is the product of the collaboration between the city's fine art school (École Nationale Supérieure d’Art) and the national centre for contemporary art. Charmingly set in lush landscaped gardens, the centre was afforded the title of Grands Établissement in 2002, placing it as one of the most prestigious educational and research facilities in the country.
Under the innovative curation of Eric Mangion at the Centre National d'Art Contemporain, exhibitions follow two differing motifs including challenging solo shows from renowned artists and thematic exhibitions based around the fundamentals of art history. Students of the school are often called upon to exhibit pieces of work so keep your eyes open for a future masterpiece.
