New plans for travel chalked out by British and Scotland governments

New announcements for COVID-19 lockdown have now been made by the English and Scottish governments. This includes dates for international travel, camping, and day trips. Camping and day trips are expected to resume soon.
Scotland is currently going through a nationwide stay at home order. It is supposed to get lifted on April 2. Also, it has been reported that domestic tourism will resume from April 26. Thus, museums, galleries, hotels, and shops are expected to reopen.

After the travel restrictions get lifted, restrictions to travel to parts or the UK and Ireland are also expected to be taken off. On the other hand, international travel is not expected to resume until May 17.

England too is hoping to lift its stay at home order, when travelling outside of your immediate local area will also be permitted. However, you will not be allowed to go on day trips. Day trips and self-contained vacation, campsites, and other such activities could open up from April 12. UK Prime Minister has also indicated that international travel could resume from May 17.

Also, for staycations, English travellers might get the opportunity to stay in hotels, hostels, and B&Bs from May 17 onwards. Museums and theatres are also supposed to reopen on the same day. All these facilities will reopen with social distancing and other COVID-19 restrictions.

It must be kept in mind that these dates are not fixed as yet, and changes in plans might happen if the rate of infection increases.
