This shopping district spans an impressive 20 blocks and is home to some of the nicest brick and mortar buildings, over 150 heritage buildings and is in fact a National Historic Site, oh and did we mention it has amazing shops. If you are looking for retro, this is one of the best places in the city to shop and make sure you head to Rhymes with Orange for all your retro needs, this store is jam packed with awesome finds. If you are looking for retro, this is one of the best places in the city to shop and make sure you head to Rhymes with Orange for all your retro needs, this store is jam packed with awesome finds. The next best retro shop in this area is Into the Music where new and used vinyl records are at your fingertips. Make sure to allocate enough time for browsing as this music store boasts amazing hidden gems. Hooper’s furniture store is where you will find the weird and wacky in terms of furniture from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s while the store Antiques and Funks will have all the accessories you need to decorate your house. Other incredible stores to check out include Cake-ology, Toad Hall Toys, The Haberdashery and Blue Moon Evolution.
