All around Jackson Square, the atmosphere is always buzzing and colourful. It is filled with brightly dressed pantomime and mime actors scattered all along the pedestrianised roads that runs around the park. There are musicians strumming on their instruments and sometimes even a five-piece brass band that had people enthralled with a variety of music but Jazz is most popular. Almost on all four sides of the Jackson Square park, the park’s railing is used as a giant gallery walls where there’s an explosion of colour. Here, artists display their works all along, done in water colours, oils and even charcoals, depicting various subjects, though Jazz players are very popular as well as sights of the French Quarter.
