In another high, India is all set to be home to the world's highest railway arch bridge. The said bridge would soon be coming up in Kashmir over River Chenab. The estimated height of this bridge is pegged at 395 m; it will be connecting Udhampur to Kashmir valley. Read less

Apart from being a marvellous architectural specimen, the materials used for the construction would make the rail bridge attack proof. The move has been lauded across the country, for it will be connecting the valley, putting it within easy reach of travellers and other people alike.
Previously this month, India's longest rail bridge, Bogibeel was also inaugurated. Needless to say, IRCTC is on a definite roll.
