India has some breathtaking and popular trekking options that take you to the Himalayan ranges and deep dense forests.

Valley of Flowers Trek, Uttarakhand
This is one of the best trekking options in India! The Valley of Flowers trek in Uttarakhand takes people through a popular UNESCO heritage site along with the Hemkund Sahib. The journey is 55 km with the highest altitude of 3658 m. During the monsoons, the entire valley gets covered with colorful Himalayan flowers.
Roopkund trek, Uttarakhand
The trek begins from Lohajung at an altitude of 3200 m and takes you to the gorgeous lake Roopkund at an altitude of 5029 m. The lake is renowned for the remains of human skeletons that were found at its bottom.
Dzongri trek, Sikkim
The northeast is also quite popular for its trekking routes. Dzongri trek, which is a five-day journey from Yuksom covers a distance of 21. But every trekker swears by the Himalayan sights including Dzongri La peak and Mt. Kanchendzonga. An experience of a lifetime.
Rajmachi Fort trek, Maharashtra
Though Maharashtra has several trekking options, Rajmachi Fort is what trekkers love the most! Set around 15 km from Lonavala, this one-day trek gives people an opportunity to explore the ancient Shrivardhan and Manaranjan forts, offering spellbinding views of the valley.
Hampta Pass Trek, Himachal Pradesh
For beginners who wish to undertake trekking, Hampta Pass is a wonderful choice. The trek commences from Hampta village in Kullu Valley and finishes at Chatru in the Lahaul & Spiti Valley. This 35 km long journey takes around 4 to 5 days to complete.
