Georgia, a picturesque country set at the intersection of Europe and Asia, has introduced eVisa for India. Under the MoU (memorandum of understanding), VFS Global will work with Georgia’s Foreign Affairs ministry to develop a digital eVisa solution. This will help manage the processing of eVisa/Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applications. Using this service, an individual will be able to upload the required supporting documents online along with a fee. Read less

Under the MoU (memorandum of understanding), VFS Global will work with Georgia’s Foreign Affairs ministry to develop a digital eVisa solution. This will help manage the processing of eVisa/Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applications. According to the legal agreement, VFS Global controls 16 Georgia visa application centres across India. The MoU signed will only streamline the complex procedures by removing technical barriers.
The introduction of eVisa for Indians by Georgia government is definitely going to increase Indian tourists footfall in the country.
