Five most important things to look at before booking a hotel

Avoiding a hotel nightmare
A hotel nightmare can be easily avoided if you can plan things beforehand. Many people think that the higher the price, the better the hotel is the only way out, but that is not the case. Many wonderful hotels offer great stays at good rates. You have to pick them out, and that requires a lot of planning.
Compare reviews
The very first thing you need to do is go through reviews. This is one of the best things about the internet, as you can learn about a hotel through genuine reviews from users. Comparing hotel reviews will give you a clear picture of what you are getting into. It may take some time, but there is no better way to be sure.
Do not fall for pictures
Unless it is a five-star hotel of repute, do not fall for pictures. The online pictures on websites are meant to attract customers, so you will never have the whole truth. Sometimes things may look beautiful and amazing, but the reality could be a lot different. Try your luck if you may, but we think it is best not to give in to the glossy images.
Know your amenities
Do not just book your hotel blindly, check the amenities. Ever-so-often we are surprised that a certain amenity is not available, but every hotel website has their amenities listed, so make sure you check them out. Something as simple as hot water may be missing from your hotel, and you need to know that before go ahead with the booking. Chances are that you will reach your hotel, and be utterly disappointed. This includes the most important amenity-Wi-Fi!
Breakfast
We all love to get that breakfast deal included with our hotel stay, and it is best to get clarity on that before booking. While many hotels include breakfast with your stay, there are some that do not, so it is your duty to find that out before you book your stay. Otherwise you might end up having to spend so much more money on your breakfast. Also, going hungry is not an option, isn't it?
Location
Here is a no brainer. If your hotel is far from all the city attractions, then you are in trouble. Remember that travelling also costs money, and if you are away from the things to need to see or do, then this becomes a problem. Also, as a thumb rule, try booking hotels in popular areas, places that have adequate security. Never book hotels in sketchy areas.
