But Bundi, the peaceful town set in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan is where you can discover the most authentic side of the colourful state. The town is generally overlooked by tourists which absolutely works in favour of offbeat travellers, explorers and solitude seekers.

Garh Mahal
The palace features several smaller palaces around the main residence of the royals. These small palaces have been built by several kingdoms who ruled here. This is a perfect place for historians or people who love to dig into the past of a bygone era.
Taragarh Fort
Situated on a hilltop, this ancient and grand fort was built in the year 1354. The iconic fort is counted among the most impressive structures in Rajasthan. The town of Bundi was founded by Rao Deva, and it was he who built this fort which is also known as the Star Fort. One can enjoy some amazing panoramic views of the entire city from here.
Sukh Palace
People who really love to explore historical sites, this place is just perfect for them. The structure is supported by 84 pillars which is the real beauty of the palace. Originally a marquee, this palace was built in 1683 by Rao Anirudh Singh.
Nawal Sagar Lake
This man made lake is one of the prime attractions of Bundi. Home to small islands, the lake could be seen from the Taragarh Fort. What makes it an unmissable attraction is the fact that it is located right in the heart of the town, so you simply can’t escape it!
Moti Mahal bundi
Bundi is renowned for its picturesque forts and steep-wells (baolis). Moti Mahal is also one such splendid palace attraction of the town. The beauty and the intricate carvings in the palace will leave you awestruck. One can also enjoy panoramic views of the Aravali hills and Nagal Sagar Lake from here.
Badal Mahal
Situated inside the premises of the Taragarh Fort, this majestic palace is all about exotic paintings. The paintings decorating the walls of the fort depict the influence of Chinese culture.
