Kerala, the state of all things fantastic, is now hosting the 6th edition of Chaliyar River Paddle. The festival is being organised by Jellyfish Water Sports, and will be hosted in Malappuram district’s Nilambur. The amazing three-day event is going to attract tonnes of tourists, so are you coming? This Kerala Kayaking festival is also a great place to visit for nature lovers, and of course children!
According to the founder of Jellyfish Water Sports, the festival focuses on saving the rivers of Kerala, and to promote recreational kayaking among the people. Conquering repeated floods, the state has come out winning back travellers. The event aims to spread awareness about clean waters.
Apart from kayaking, visitors will also be treated other amazing attractions. Kayaking is only for three hours, while other experiences include camping by the river, yoga sessions, barbecues, and even a cultural excursion conducted by local kids.
Another great initiative of this festival is to clean the river, so while you are enjoying your water sport, you will also be asked to clean it on your way.
