The fee varies from park to park and can go up to $20 per person or $30 per vehicle (this rate is minus parking permits). Visitors can choose to explore the famous Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona), Rocky Mountain National Park (Colorado), Yosemite National Park (California), Glacier National Park (Montana) and also the Yellowstone National Park (Montana and Idaho) among others.
The National Park Week ritual is hosted on an annual basis since the year 1991 (to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee or 75 years of the establishment).
