Home to the Stockholm Philarmonic Orchestra, this centrally located concert hall is a bustling and beautiful place for you to absorb melodies and musicology from across the globe in their varied performances and exhibitions.

The two main concert rooms - Stora Salen and Grünewaldsalen - are works of art in their own right. Stora Salen, or 'Great Hall' is a magnificent neo-classical room that was designed to look like a Greek square, and has an organ covering the entire back wall. This is where larger concerts and orchestral performances are held.

Even more spectacular, the richly embellished Grünewaldsalen (named after its artist Issac Grünewald) is covered with elaborate murals inspired by the history of music and ancient Greece. Thanks to its size - seating a maximum of 460 people - it has an intimate feel, and usually holds string quartets and chamber music concerts.
